This dungeon is one of my entry level adventures. It uses the master plan program to run. Using that Free program you can export to HTML and print it up if that is your desire. It is poorly written but I believe it is playable. Open Master Plan program then open the project through that program. I put a new folder in my Master plan main folder and call it Adventures.

Motivation

Lately new ideas swirl with in my mind. From making dragons in to a player race to more lycanthrope options. New magic items, and magic item options. Game worlds, and campaign ideas and whats great is I'm on vacation.

So why do I have no motivation to do these things?

I also use a dry erase white board to keep track of initiative and combat

Jran of the Thorny Rose

Jran was the Husband of a Theopolis Inquisitor. Till let a half elf live and continue to soil the world of Arret with the existence an impure race. He was Exiled by the government but his ex-wife still hunts him when she gets a chance to.

I got behind on my idea to have an npc a day for this blog site. Behind that it is until today. I have yet to post them maybe tonight or maybe tomorrow or even Friday.
I am currently working on the Thorny rose traveling circus. A circus that reasons to hate The Solajrin Theopolis.

Randal of the Thorny Rose

Randal was an animal trainer for the Theopolis many years ago; however his camp came under attack and he fled. He was later captured, tortured and then exiled for desertion. He was later picked up by the Thorny Rose to handle animals. Though he works against the Theopolis he frequently seeks to save children from harm even Theopolis children.

Rin was and is the product of a magical experiment. He was hatched and raised by the Thorny Rose.

Tin Tin is also a magic experiment into giving creatures more power.

Silver Leaf is rare among the thorny Rose, She was born of two elves who were apart of the circus but were later killed in action on a mission against The royal family of Winecrest. She holds no ill will against the guards of royal family or the royal family; but towards the Solajrin Theopolis. Her parents were in a mission to kill a spy of the Theopolis that was in the castle.

Yan like many people in the Thorny Rose circus is yet another victim of the Theopolis cleansing war machine. His family were refugee's from another world transported to this one by some gate way. They had hoped to start a new life. They were wiped out by the Theopolis because they were not Human. With more hatred than normal for a Drow Elf he found and joined the group. He works as one of the Tumblers and frequently as an assassin with the sole task of killing Theopolis soldiers. He hopes to kill as many Inquisitors as possible, as his family was killed by an Inquisitor.

Clancy Thorny Rose acrobat

Clancy is the sole survivor of a raid on his village by the Solajrin Theopolis. He was a child when the attack came on one their most scared days. He hid under the bodies of his parents and remained still. A day later Santh and the Thorny Rose discovered him. The traveling circus found the soldiers who destroyed his family years later and let Clancy kill them all, after they were all subdued and tied up that is. Clancy became an acrobat in the Thorny Rose.

Santh Leafclinger is the leader and ringmaster of the Thorny Rose traveling circus. He was born many years ago and one time had a wife and kids. They were killed in an attack from the Theopolis and he took up a life of traveling and performing. In his activities he frequently goes after and kills those who murdered his family. Like all of the Thorny Rose they despise the Theopolis and apposes them and kills them whenever they get a chance.

Legendary blacksmiths are rarely encountered in a town or city. They spend most their time in mountains surrounded by expert blacksmiths from from him. The Legendary blacksmith works for epic adaventurers and gods. Everything they make has magic in it. Just striking his hammer to the item can cause it to become magical. He almost never works for money but when he does you can expect to pay around 500% to 5,000% of what the item would cost.

The expert blacksmiths can be found in large cities or surrounding a legendary blacksmith. They make masterwork weapons and armor and other items. You can expect to pay as much as 50% to 150% more for their items.

This a standard Blacksmith that you find in just about every single town and or city. They can make and repair weapons and armor and other items require metal smithing. They are not that big of a deal.

In my job at Wally World I stand around a lot. I have to I'm a people greeter. It's boring, I carry several small notebooks in my pockets on several different topics. Recently I was thinking about how the Apostle Thomas got the shaft through history and has gotten a bad rep. I let my mind relax and I saw a prescription leave the building. Suddenly my mind shifted gears.

Do people check their drugs? How does one know that he is really buying just some pill to help with headaches? Are their agencies that check the drugs we make every day and take every day? it seems in our world we check only when something goes wrong.

in my fantasy world I saw drug companies come to together to make a pact on making the world a better place for them. a group of seven drug companies make a DNA drug that hides it's self in our DNA. After all in plaques and poisoning the CDC only checks for chemicals, virus, and or bacteria. But what if they hid a DNA sequence or drug in their med? It would take years to build up. Then it happens.

A person dies of natural causes, or bleeds to death through injury. Then suddenly it rises from the dead as an undead zombie. They attack others out of some reprogrammed DNA sequence that was added to their genetic code by these drugs. Even if they are not killed by a zombie they die and rise from the dead. This effect would be, by many appear to be supernatural origin.

By the end of three months 75% or more of seven billion people are dead. The undead walk the earth. In two to five years those zombies have decayed to that of skeletons and have ceased to be a threat. Those who made the DNA plaque survived or many of them did. They have the whole world to play with and population has come back to they're control.

Many of the survivors completely unaware of the true cause of the plaque. They bring back energy and measure of comfort again.

Then my mind changed and went to how I can make Thomas getting the shaft into an adventure, but that's for another day.

Playing a Werewolf

New Feat: You have been infected with Lycanthropy or you have discovered a Curse of Lycanthropy that runs through your bloodlines. You gain access to one of two powers. When a power says dominated it means the beast takes over and you attack the nearest creature.

The choice of the powers is Lunar Werewolf or Rage Werewolf One is controlled by the Lunar cycle and the other is controlled by Being damaged.

Sage serves the Ladies of Liberty as a book keeper in their Library. She has read many of the books and knows much. Sage has had some informal training in the ways of Arcane magic and has picked up an attack power.

Sage tends to be shy around every one, But more so around men. Soft spoken many have to strain to hear her but when they do, they are frequently rewarded with knowledge that would have taken them weeks if not months to discover.

Her fellow adventures are always introducing her to new men to get her interested in them and maybe into a marriage. Thus far she has refused.

Cynthia is a member of the ladies of Liberty an adventuring guild for females only. She is young and beautiful. She is the one who always smiles, and has a wonderful since of humor. When nervous she tends to bite on her lower lip, and when entering combat her thumbs twitch.

Candy, Rogue

some what shy and timid this rogue is sly. She knows exactly how to move to get a man attention. In the city she works as a spy and when times call for it an assassin.

Candy is in near physical perfection and petite. She keeps her short as in these times most men like it short and she tends to wear white as she thinks it makes her look more sexy. When exited and ready to kick ass, she gets a slight neck tick.

Candy belongs to the Ladies of Liberty adventurers guild. She frequently works for the city guard and the king and is considered one of the top spies on internal threats.

I'm trying something new. I made a short one encounter adventure useing the Master plan adventure software. I don't think it's a great adventure. It's not bad though for one encounter and a small mission of sorts. This one of those intended to be put in a middle of a long running campaign thing. For that time when every body is late except that one player or you just don't have enough time to run a long game. If you use it though or even preview and let me know what I can do to make it better.

These legends are presented as truth, for the teller very likely believes they are true. In a fantasy game they could very well be true.

Legends in fantasy games are above and beyond the rest magic and strange creatures. In a Fantasy realm strange creatures and magic tends to be common place. So Legends should be above and beyond the normal. Giants are truly gigantic. Some can be the size of mountains. Feel free to use these legends as starting points for your adventures. Hopefully more are to come.
